    Just because the …
Just because the sales and billing department can be complete douchebags doesn’t mean the program isn’t helpful. I knew what I was paying when I got it, so it was no issue to me.

    She is a fraud. I …
She is a fraud. I ordered her program when I was the lowest point of my life. Couldn’t start right away b/c I was studying for a bar exam & have young children. Didn’t open it. Got five phone calls a day from people with difficult accents, asking me scripted questions about whether or not I got the program. NEVER ONCE MAKING SURE I UNDERSTOOD IF I DIDN’T SEND IT BACK WITHIN 30 DAYS I WOULD BE ON THE HOOK FOR $400+ NO MATTER WHAT. I begged, broke down, cried for release. They hung up.

I have not used her …
I have not used her program, but I agree that this program does not look too sound, since I have similar problems as you. Her complete hatred of medication also, at least to me, comes across as quite ignorant and arrogant, and she may very well have influenced her husband to not pursue alternative routes to cure his depression, thus prompting his suicide. Not that I blamer her for his condition, but I know it may not have helped to have someone who is anti medication.

    Lucinda Bassett= …
Lucinda Bassett=shit stain IMHO. Having suffered from panic/anxiety for the past 14 years, if I found something that worked for me and cured me, I would give it away. I wouldn’t charge people anything. I don’t care what people say. If I truly could help people not go through another minute of it, I would. Making tapes and charging for “talks” is BS. Her tapes did not help me in the long term. She is a fraud IMO. If she helps you then great. Glad to hear it. But I suffer pretty badly. god bless.

    Didn’t her husband …
    Didn’t her husband commit suicide?

I wonder if her technique would have helped him. Or maybe he could have benefitted from some form of medication in addition to therapy. I know they say that medication is “water wings”, as in when one is learning to swim, they need the inflatable water wings to help them stay afloat on the water.

    My anxiety started …
My anxiety started when I went to the Hospital to have an emergency D&C they put me under after I came to I was a changed person. It’s been 20 years and the last three years it has gotton so bad I do not want to leave my house my worst anxiety is when i’m in the car. My throat closes and I can’t breath.I cannot go on Elevators and now I do not want to leave me House. I used to drive and fly anywhere not anymore. It’s the worst.G

Is it true that her husband committed suicide?

  14. dmispceg Says:

    It me off …
It me off that people have to have something ugly to say about someone, because they are unhappy within themselves. You show no compassion or respect for a family who is surely suffering from this unfortunate circumstance. It’s not anyone’s business what happened to her husband, nor is it her fault. No one else is to blame for one’s actions. This is why I have very little tolerance for people like you all. You’re immature and ignorant. Mrs. Bassett, thank you for helping others.

  15. SharksKid Says:

    This program has …
This program has the right idea. If something is wrong, often the last thing people do is enter the objective mindset where they’re willing to look at themselves honestly and find out where they need to change. It’s not easy but definitely possible. I did it all by myself over the course of five years, but realize that most people might need a helping hand. If that’s what this program does, then go for it.

  16. tippasokrates Says:

    Getting over …
Getting over anxiety means changing the way you think about yourself and about the world. You are the cause of your anxiety and you are the only one who can stop it. YOU need to change. This program has saved my life, but it has taken a lot of work. There are no quick fixes. I would buy this program again, it has put the quality back into my life.

    recovered, Sweden.

  17. pokerliciousmk Says:

    How come people …
How come people define anxiety as a relatively permanent state of worry and nervoussness?
What do they mean by that?
Cause i thought it was treatable lol…..

  18. mythrilfox Says:

    She clearly has …
She clearly has very intimate knowledge of the causes of anxiety and depression and how to re-work bad habits into good ones.
    5. there’s obviously no guarantee that it will work for everyone, or that it’s worth the money. is it good material? yes. period. as someone who has dealt with this stuff I can say there’s absolutely no debating that. but like all things, your mileage may vary.
    6. yeah, she’s a good businesswoman. get over it. not everyone is out to steal the farm.

  19. mythrilfox Says:

    1. the only …
    1. the only evidence her husband committed suicide is some random blog post. sorry, not enough for me.
    2. even if he did commit suicide, it didn’t have to be as a result of depression. lots of other causes; schizo, bipolar to name a couple.
    3. even if he did commit suicide as a result of depression, that doesn’t mean the program doesn’t work.
    4. she got over horrible anxiety herself and has helped a ton of other people overcome anxiety and depression. I’ve listened to the program.

  21. thenewageriseth Says:

    I just read that …
I just read that ppl were being charged for extra stuff for this program that they didn’t order; things like free CDs. One person said they were billed $500 odd dollars just for ordering a free CD (which may or may not have been a misunderstanding on the operator’s part). Cuz I had ordered the free CD and I never was billed for anything-This was at least 2 YRS AGO when I ordered.

  22. jstow01 Says:

    It’s true. Once …
It’s true. Once they have your credit card number, it is to get them to stop billing you for nothing.
